I have installed WSS 3 SP2 on windows2k3 R2 SP2 x64.
I have my moodle and my sharepoint site both on this server and both are working.
Installing the MIS web service is successful and I can get to the MoodleWebService.asmx.
Installing the MIS Web Parts fails with the attached error

Hi All,

I have Implemented this successfully.
For this I have follow the following steps.
1. Install Server 2003 32 bit.
2. Install .NET framework 1.1, 2.2, 3.5
3. Install WSS 3.0 (Sharepoint.exe).
4. Install Moss 2007 (OfficeServer.exe).
5. Install Mysql ODBC on Moss machine and test connection withe moodle machine (Mysql).
6. Enable LDAP on Moodle and test it properly.
7. Now Install MIS for ODBC on Moss machine.
Now test it. It is working.

Created Issue: Courses web part: The link of the "Add New Course" button is incorrect

Test scenario:
1. Add the Courses web part on a MOSS site.
2. Login to MOSS as a teacher.
3. Click the "Add New Course" link at the bottom of the Courses web part.
4. The link takes you to the Moodle system, where the following error is displayed:
Either course id or category must be specified.
(Please refer to the attached screenshot.)

Test environemnt:
Moodle 1.8
MIS 1.5

Further Notes:
Checking around the code, I have found out that:
- You cannot access the course/edit.php page without passing the course id or category id parameters.
- This is the reason why this error message is displayed.
- To fix this issue, the "Add New Course" link should point to course/index.php instead of course/edit.php. This fix can be done in the "Courses.cs" class file

Question:
I wanted to perform this fix and contribute it to the project, but after I have built the Web Parts project, I didn't know how to deploy the courses web part for testing?

CLOSED ISSUE: An unhandled Exception occured

I’m getting "An unhandled Exception occured" error.

The debug info says "A web service error occured. Please refer to the Web Service Error Log for details."

However I'm unsure of where to find the log.

The computers Event Log shows the following error around the same time as the site is loaded:

"Unable to connect publishing custom string handler for output caching. IIS Instance Id is '419524053', Url is 'http://moss-2007/WebServiceMoodleSPS/moodlewebservice.asmx'."

However I'm unsure how to fix this.

Various other people have had similar issues I think. Would love to get this working with some help please!

Running: Windows 2003 SP2, MOSS2007. Moodle running on another box with Apache. Moodle set up and working correctly with LDAP talking to AD.

CLOSED ISSUE: Installer fails when Trust is 'Full'

When the trust level is set with the keyword 'Full' in the web.config, the installer fails as it seems to be looking for the relevant trust config file and dies when it can find nothing.

Is it possible to support the 'Full' trust level?

Oh yes... and it's Moodle 1.8+ that I'm using. I don't seem to be able to change the Impact from Low to High... obviously it is High, because it doesn't work! Thanks.
